Emulator Cheats

I was wondering if there were any cheats for MK that would allow you to remove the sprites, lifebar, background, etc.?? This would make it a lot easier in trying to take snapshots without certain objects/characters in the game.

Also, is there one for turning off background music??

Unfortunately there isn't even a way (MAME 0.104) to even view the graphics with F4 yet - it would be cool to do that in the Midway games but it's not easy/possible at this time. It seems like there's parts missing in the graphics also with the strange "400x254" screenshots - doesn't divide into 8 like it possibly should but it could be a MAME "max_visible_area" issue like the neogeo's 304x224 (max res 320x224) and some odd numbers (!) 384x255 (itech32.c) and Missile Command 256x231!

I haven't checked the source of the games to see what makes the resolution change so I have no idea...

I have a cheat dat ( However , if you have another cheat.dat with other codes , just add them to yours ) with the ripping cheats , umk3 is limited sprite edition cheat , mk2 is remove bkg step 1 and 2 ( or walk tru walls ) , and mk1 is walk tru walls . Big fan of your work Ace. I'd been searching for Jade Smoke and Noob Saibot codes in MK2 for years.
