Marvel VS Capcom (mvsc)

On Marvel VS Capcom (mvsc) when you enable the (Onslaught vs Onslaught) code in the cheats, he can be seen and controlled. However when you try to select him on a 1 player game, he becomes distorted. Is there a way to fix this?

No. As with many fighter game bosses, he uses custom code (or data or something) that only works properly when "properly" loaded as the opponent.
